As it relates to colors, wood is extremely versatile and can be painted in any color you desire. Most homeowners will keep the natural color of the wood. Others may opt to stain the wood or have in painted to match the house colors. White, black and brown are often used to paint garage doors.
If you are unable to afford wood garage door panels, you can consider faux wood garage doors. It is recommended, however, that you reinforce the faux wood with another material, such as iron. This will help to strengthen the garage door.
